Tigsy at 15 years old

We veterinarians see many illnesses which result in the need to remove a pet's eye. Corneal ulcerations, traumatic injuries, tumors and severe infections are not uncommon to veterinary patients.

At Animal House Callswe see cats and dogs suffering eye damage which is either beyond treatment or prohibitively expensive to treat. I believe the real question is how does the pet fare with only one eye? Very well without exception.Today we saw our old friend " Tigsy", as well as a 12 week old kitten , both with one remaining eye. These cats are doing great.
